The Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid rumors have started to gain fresh momentum in recent days. The latest suggestions are that the Frenchman is headed to Santiago Bernabeu at the end of his contract with PSG, which runs out next summer. Of course, nothing is official yet and so, do not take anything for granted. Also, he is not the only high-profile player to be linked with Los Blancos recently. The idea of Erling Haaland possibly moving to the Spanish capital has been floating around for a while too.
Just like Mbappe, Haaland has been on Real Madrid’s radar for as long as possible. Since he was at RB Salzburg.
After a successful spell at Borussia Dortmund, Haaland now finds himself at Manchester City, where he has been winning trophies and breaking records for fun. There have been rumors though that he does not enjoy the weather there and could consider an exit.
If Haaland was to leave Manchester City and England altogether, Real Madrid would be his most likely destination. Unfortunately, it looks like an exit might not be on the cards for now.
To be honest, there is very little reason for Haaland to leave Manchester City right now. He is scoring goals for fun and consistently lifting trophies with Pep Guardiola’s side.
A Lionel Messi World Cup win might have stopped him from winning major individual honors but those are sure to come if he can continue delivering like this. Will Haaland spend the rest of his career at Manchester City? Probably not. But do not expect him to leave the club in the near future.
