Check out Man City star Erling Haaland rocking a 7,500 Breitling watch in his latest ad shoot. Style and luxury at its finest!

Injured Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has topped up his sizeable income by starring in an advert for a luxury watch brand in London

The Manchester City goal machine is the face of the high-end Breitling brand and has been filmed for the company, whose timepieces cost around £7,500. While that would be out of reach for the overwhelming majority of us, it is a drop in the ocean for the Norwegian, who reputedly earns approaching £1million per week at money-bags City.

Pictures of filming for the ad, which took place in London, see Haaland dressed in old-fashion clobber and clutching throwback leather football with the pricey watch clearly visible.

Haaland has been out of action for the last month due to injury, although he is close to a return and could play a part in Saturday’s trip to Newcastle. City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed the 23-year-old is back in light training and hinted there was an outside chance he could figure at St James’ Park.

“Erling is a little better, his bones, so we need to be careful,” said Guardiola. “[He’s had] two or three sessions and felt good. Hopefully, [he can play soon but], I don’t know for Newcastle.”
