Real Madrid’s decision to offload Vinicius has raised eyebrows, but could it be a silver lining for Manchester United

According to Spanish newspaper SPORT, Real Madrid wants to sell Vinicius Junior to make room for Kylian Mbappe on the left wing.
Striker Kylian Mbappe’s contract with the defending Ligue I champions will expire at the end of this season and Real Madrid really wants Mbappe’s signature. Over the years, the White Vultures have been interested in Mbappe’s future and when there is a clear opportunity they will be willing to negotiate.

According to sources from SPORT, if this transfer happens, Real Madrid will “decide” to sell Vinicius Junior to make room for Mbappe’s position on the left wing. This would be an astonishing decision for the La Liga giants and it would leave the big clubs in England with a flag in their stomachs.

The Brazilian star is valued at about 150 million euros, which is a reasonable fee considering Vinicius’ contributions to Real Madrid. Sport claim that Man Utd could be one of the clubs interested in signing the 23-year-old.

Of course, this deal can only happen if Man Utd can liquidate some “redundant people” at the club.
