In the Premier League, against whom has Erling Haaland not scored a goal?

Erling Haaland dealt with the blow of missing out on Germany 2024 after November’s international break, but that didn’t stop him from returning to score for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City over the weekend. On Saturday he scored again in the Premier League, against Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The Norwegian striker lifted a weight off his shoulders, having failed to score against the Anfield outfit since arriving at the Etihad Stadium, by finding the back of the net in the first half.

The strike took Haaland’s tally to 50 Premier League goals, but it also helped him put Liverpool on the list of Premier League teams he has scored against, which includes 20 of the 21 teams he has faced between last season and this season. Of the teams he has faced, only Brentford has kept him out to date.

It is worth highlighting that last year, Haaland only played in the first of the two games against the Bees, as he was rested in the second ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester United. In the match he played against Thomas Frank’s side they were beaten 2-1 at home, while in the second fixture, they lost 1-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium.

City has yet to face Luton Town – recently promoted to the English top flight – and another club that he will be aiming to find the back of the net against. On 10 December City will play at Luton’s Kenilworth Road.
