Trent Alexander-Arnold parted ways with Under Armor after a long period of cooperation: A transition and new prospects in his career?

Trent Alexander-Arnold, vice captain of Liverpool, ends long-term partnership with Under Armour and signs £26 million boot deal with Adidas.

Following in the footsteps of other English and Real Madrid players like Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold has inked a multi-year contract with adidas worth £26 million for boots.

The vice captain of Liverpool’s squad was seen wearing a pair of retro-style, unreleased adidas Predator boots when scoring in Saturday’s match against Manchester City. Alexander-Arnold has been with Under Armour since his adolescent breakthrough, therefore this marks the conclusion of a long-term deal with the company.

Despite the American firm’s best efforts to retain Alexander-Arnold as an athlete and the face of its soccer campaigns worldwide, the 25-year-old accepted a hefty offer from adidas, who offered him a central role as a brand ambassador.

It is highly probable that Alexander-Arnold will succeed Virgil van Dijk as Liverpool captain in due time, and German maker adidas views him as one of the sport’s brightest players. A major advertising campaign will feature him.

The England player, who has worn Predators since he was six years old, is due to earn €30 million over the course of the multi-year deal, and he will also have his own signature line with adidas, which might bring in additional royalties.
