Sir Alex Ferguson shares his thoughts on the potential change in ownership at Man Utd a voice worth listening to in times of transition.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is still waiting to formalize a £1.3 billion deal with the Glazer family to buy back 25% of M.U’s shares. According to initial information, the British billionaire’s agreement will be approved and confirmed by the Red Devils during this international break.
However, according to the latest information from British media, this agreement cannot yet be announced and is likely to be postponed until next year.

After completing the agreement to buy back 25% of shares, Sir Jim Ratcliffe will take control of football activities, creating a premise to completely acquire M.U in the future. According to British media, he will ask legendary Red Devils coach Sir Alex Ferguson for advice before planning a comprehensive reform of the team.

For his part, Sir Alex implicitly expressed his support for Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s takeover of M.U. “I am still a director of the club and I know Jim Ratcliffe well. We will have to see what he does but I feel very optimistic,” the 81-year-old former coach shared with Gambling Zone.

Sir Alex Ferguson led M.U for 27 years, from 1986-2013. He is the greatest coach in the club’s history when he won 38 big and small titles, including 13 Premier Leagues, 2 Champions Leagues, 5 FA Cups…
Meanwhile, the current owners of M.U, the Glazers, have been in power since 2005. Since then, the American family has always been the focus of criticism from fans for lacking interest and draining the team.
