Kylian Mbappe’s hat trick helped the French team set a record of 14 goals in an incredible match. What a performance!

With home field advantage and world-class players, it was no surprise that the French team invaded Gibraltar’s field right from the first minutes of the match. France soon enjoyed joy in the first five minutes when they took a 2-0 lead thanks to an own goal from Ethan Santos and a goal from striker Marcus Thuram.

17-year-old midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery scored to make it 3-0 on his debut from a pass from Coman. The PSG midfielder left the field in the 16th minute due to an ankle injury. Gibraltar were down to 10 men when Ethan Santos was sent off for a harsh foul on Zaire-Emery as he put the ball into the net.

Gibraltar could not resist having to play without players and the away team quickly collapsed, receiving 4 more goals in the first half. Mbappe had the first goal in the match after a decisive penalty kick in the 30th minute. Jonathan Clauss, Kingsley Coman and Youssouf Fofana scored 3 goals in just 3 minutes from minute 34 to 37 to put the French team up 7-0 before halftime.

France continued to bombard Gibraltar’s goal in the second half and the “Gothic Roosters” had 7 more goals. Adrien Rabiot became the sixth player to score in the match when he scored in the 63rd minute. Coman scored to increase the score to 9-0 after a good combination with Kylian Mbappe.

Ousmane Dembele came off the bench to score the home team’s 10th goal. He had a wonderful solo dribble and shot from inside the box, beating goalkeeper Dayle Coleing with a shot into the bottom left corner. Mbappe scored 2 more goals in the 74th and 82nd minutes to complete the hat-trick, including a super goal in the 82nd minute from a long shot at a distance of 40 meters.

Giroud promptly got his name on the scoreboard when he scored two goals at the end of the match to close out the great victory for the French team. This is France’s 7th victory in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Deschamps and his team face the opportunity to have a winning record if they defeat Greece on November 22.
