French press explains that “Kiki” is analyzing two options to continue in PSG this season with the main goal to follow his football career in Real Madrid from June 2024, the moment his current contract in France will finish.
The first choice Mbappe thinks is the following: renew his current contract for one more year, until June 2025, as PSG wishes, but with the covenant that he can go next summer with a cost combined between both parties. This renewal would let PSG happy and Mbappe could leave Paris in less than one year from now.
The second option Mbappe analyzes very carefully and Real Madrid prefers
The second alternative talks about forgiving premiums, such as fidelity, which PSG would save a lot of money. With this panorama, Mbappe will leave for free next year and PSG won’t receive money for his departure. Besides, Real Madrid is considering this option for not paying the French offensive transfer, and the Spanish club’s executives wouldn’t appreciate another renewal from him with PSG.
