After wanting to kick out Neymar Jr, PSG received the worst possible karma

Paris Saint-Germain suffered a comeback from Cerezo Osaka in a preseason friendly. Playing in the Japanese city of Osaka, the French team led the score on two occasions, but ended up losing 3–2 in the French Championship match. The Brazilian striker was on the list for the game, but fell to the bench.

The coach Luis Enrique opted to align a first-part formation that was approaching the start of PSG, with the exception of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, who did not accompany the group to these friendlies in Asia. Marquinhos was the captain of the team, and the confrontation was lively, with a total of five goals scored.

The first goal of the game was from PSG, with Ekitike opening the scoring in the 17th minute of the game. However, Cerezo Osaka reacted quickly and Croux equalized five minutes later. In the final stretch, Vitinha put Paris Saint-Germain back in front after four minutes. But unfortunately for the French, the Japanese team turned the game around with goals from Kitano and Kagawa, in the 22nd and 34th minute, respectively.

In the second half, Luis Enrique made eight changes to the team, including last season’s starters like Marco Verratti and Hakimi, as well as reinforcements like Lucas Hernández. Even with the presence of important players, the team could not prevent the comeback of Cerezo Osaka.

Neymar’s absence was deeply felt

The absence of Neymar and Mbappé was felt during the game, since both are essential players for PSG. The fans will be expecting to see Neymar in action again, but they will have to wait a little longer until the Brazilian attacker is fully recovered and soon to play
