Meghan Markle’s estranged dad, Thomas Markle Sr., has been arrested by the FBI for alleged possession of child porn found in his home in the Philippines and a Mexico storage unit, sources told The Post Friday.
Markle Sr., 82, was taken into custody in Lakeland, Florida, where he is currently living in a rehab center as part of his recovery following his December 2025 leg amputation, the Daily Mail first reported.
A source told the Daily Mail that Markle Sr. was arrested for possession of child 𝘴єxual 𝘢bu𝘴e material.

The alleged images found in the Philippines were uncovered by his son, Thomas Markle Jr., who was sifting through belongings looking for a cellphone.
Markle Jr., 60, reported his dad in July after finding an “unbelievable amount of stuff” in the property, which was allegedly hidden among family mementos, according to The Sun.
He contacted FBI investigators – who requested contact information for investigators in the Philippines — and reported the sickening finds to the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children.
Disturbing child pornography was also allegedly uncovered in a Mexico storage unit rented by Markle Sr.
The Daily Mail made the sickening discovery and reported him to the FBI after being granted access to Thomas Markle Sr.’s unit near his former home in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, after he failed to keep up with his payments.

Books about pedophilia and magazines showing children being sexually abused were allegedly found in the stash.
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, said she’s “deeply distressed” by the allegations.

“I am deeply distressed at the news that has come to light in the last 24 hours, and my thoughts are with any children who may have been harmed,” Markle told The Post in a statement.
Markle Sr. has vehemently denied possessing such images, branding the claims as “sick lies.”
Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, told the Mail the allegations leveled against her father are “unsubstantiated.”
