Four never-before-seen pH๏τos of Dolly Parton and Carl Dean offer a touching glimpse into their nearly 59-year marriage

Country music stars took to the stage in Nashville on Wednesday night to honor the late superstar singer Dolly Parton.

Parton died on Aug. 25 at the age of 80, following what her family said was a “brief” battle with cancer.

Singers like Ella Langley, Carly Pearce, Kristin Chenoweth, Lady A and Lainey Wilson came out to Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts and performed Parton’s greatest hits in front of her family, friends and fans as part of the “CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton” event.

So my whole life, I’ve made this joke that I really did work 9 to 5 for Dolly,” Pearce told ABC News. “So, the fact that it came completely full circle tonight, loving music like I loved Dolly and being a little girl that grew up looking at her and idolizing her and saying, ‘You know what, if she can do it, I can do it too.’”
