A couple were found shot dead in a Bronx apartment Tuesday night in an apparent murder-sᩚuᩚiᩚcide, according to police and sources.
Andrea Cantarini, 37, and her so-far-unidentified 38-year-old boyfriend were found with fatal gunshot wounds to their heads inside Cantarini’s apartment on Blackstone Avenue in Riverdale around 9 p.m., the NYPD said.
It appears the boyfriend shot and killed Cantarini before he turned the gun on himself, sources said.
The suspected murderer’s identity was still being withheld Wednesday morning pending family notification of his dєatᩚh, police said.
Police had rushed to the apartment around 9 p.m. after receiving a call from Cantarini’s father, who claimed her boyfriend was trying to 𝘬iᩚll her, sources told The Post.
A gun was recovered at the scene, sources said.
The śh́óóting remains under investigation.
