The shrink who got into a fiery exchange with  is now out of a job, The Post has confirmed.

Dr. Avram Mack, who worked at Nemours Children’s Health in Delaware, resigned on Monday – the same day he took the witness stand in the closely watched case.

“Dr. Avram Mack is no longer employed by Nemours Children’s Health,” the employer said Friday.
Nemours declined to elaborate, saying “employment decisions are confidential.”

Mack – a prosecution witness –  “in a serious psychiatric state and she was suffering” on Jan. 24, 2023, when she strangled Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan to death in the basement of her home in Duxbury, Mass.

But ultimately, the psychiatrist said, she should be held criminally responsible for their deaths.

Clancy’s attorney Kevin Reddington repeatedly grilled Mack on whether the former labor and delivery nurse was  at the time but said he found no evidence “of psychotic features” in her record.

The Columbia-trained doc who didn’t evaluate Clancy until April 2026 got into a heated exchange with Reddington – who blasted the doc for smirking during questioning.

“What are you smiling for?” Reddington snapped. “This is not funny, sir.”

Mack could not be reached.

The news comes as jurors ended their second day of deliberations .

Clancy, 36, faces life in prison without parole if convicted of murder.  not guilty by reason of insanity, which would land her in a psychiatric facility until she’s deemed no longer a threat to herself or others.

Jurors will return to court in Plymouth, Mass., on Monday.
