Speculations are going around regarding when Neymar Jr. will return to playing football for Al-Hilal.
Neymar Jr. is one of the biggest names in the footballing world but the former Barcelona strikers career has taken a serious downhill route over the past few years as every time he has stepped on the pitch to showcase his magic, injuries have plagued the star. Neymar signed with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal in 2023 for a record fee but could only play three games for the club as he suffered a knee injury which put him out for the season. Neymar last graced the pitch in October 2023 and has since then been in recovery. Fans are still unsure when they will get to see Neymar back on the pitch again after being out for almost a year.
When Will Neymar Be Back?
Neymar has been in recovery since October 2023 and fans are desperate to see the Brazilian magician back on the pitch. A few months ago Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar had given a statement regarding the progress of the skillfull winger.
“We haven’t even reached the halfway point of his recovery; only when we are closer to nine or ten months (of physiotherapy) can we confirm his return to the pitch,” said Lasmar in March. As of right now Neymar has returned to Saudi Arabia as he has joined training with Al-Hilal and looks to make his comeback soon.
Neymar recently featured in the E-Sports World Cup that took place in Saudi Arabia and showcased his gaming skills to fans all over the world.
Al-Hilal Coach Gives Date
Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus gave fans some good news and insight into the return of the superstar. When asked about a potential Neymar return date, Jesus revealed that Neymar will be back on the pitch and playing for Al-Hilal in September. This also means that Neymar would feature for Brazil in October as Brazil have struggled in the superstar’s absence.
