The Brazilian star of Al-Hilal is finalizing his recovery process before returning to the pitch and used his social media to send a motivational message
Neymar Jr.’s return could be much closer than expected. Initially, the Brazilian star, who was injured in October 2023, was aiming to return to play with Al-Hilal by the end of this year, after it was revealed that he suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee.
The recovery time was estimated to be between 10 and 12 months, and after nearly 270 days of total inactivity, Neymar began individual training in July. Now, in mid-August, and more than 330 days since he last played a match, there is optimism about a possible return for Neymar in September, in just one month.
On his social media, the Brazilian star has shown, day by day, how committed he is to his rehabilitation process and recently used his accounts to send a message to all those who doubt his commitment and ability to come back stronger:
“People don’t understand how obsessed I am with winning,” accompanied by three images showing him in full Al-Hilal training gear, lifting weights in the club’s gym.
In Saudi Arabia, rumors are growing that Al-Hilal hopes to have Neymar back in time for the upcoming month of September, as there is optimism about adding him to the squad for the important Saudi League match against Al-Ittihad on September 19.
