♦ Kylian Mbappe was unveiled as a Real Madrid player in front of a packed stadium
♦ The Frenchman is set to get his hands on a brand new BMW ahead of the season
♦ Madrid are entering third year of their sponsorship with German manufacturer
Kylian Mbappe is reportedly set to join his new Real Madrid team-mates in receiving a state-of-the-art BMW ahead of the new season.
The French superstar was unveiled as the club’s newest Galatico earlier this month following years of speculation linking him with a move to the Spanish capital.
Playing for the world’s biggest club comes with a host of perks. Not only with Mbappe see his already incredibly high profile rise in the form of new brand deals but he’ll also be competing for the biggest prizes on offer in the sport.
Another off-field advantage to being a member of the Los Blancos first team is the gift of a brand electric BMW courtesy of the side’s now three-year sponsorship deal with the German manufacturer.
Similar to Bayern Munich’s agreement with Audi, each first team player, manager Carlo Ancelotti and even the club president Florentino Perez are handed a new vehicle at the start of each term.

Mbappe is set to receive BMW’s new i7 M70 xDrive which currently retails for more than £164,000
The motor boasts two engines and can go from 0 to 100 in a staggering 3.7 seconds
According to Marca, Mbappe will get his hands on the i7 M70 xDrive. The motor boasts two engines, one on the rear axle with 489 hp and another on the front with 258 hp.
This makes his ride capable of reaching speeds of 250km/h and going from 0 to 100 in a staggering 3.7 seconds. The car retails for more than £164,000.
Mbappe will not feel out of place when he arrives at the training ground, with many of his colleagues expected to go for a similar model. In fact, president Perez already sports the same vehicle.
The selections made Madrid’s current roster have not yet been revealed but players were seen in delight as they were presented with their models for the 2023-24 campaign in October.
Up to four different models have been chosen by the players of the first team and the coach, which included the BMW i4, i7 the SUV iX and XM.
On the cheaper end of the price scale were the electric i4 eDrive35 i4, which retails for around £50,000. While the most expensive car of the bunch was the plug-in hybrid XM which costs in excess of £150,000.
According to Marca, that option was taken by a total of eight Madrid players including Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo.
Vinicius Jnr and Aurelien Tchouameni were among the seven players who went for the more affordable i4. They were also joined by their manager who described the car as ‘spectacular’.
Veterans Toni Kroos and Luka Modric opted for the cheaper SUV option in the iX, as did defender Antonio Rudiger. Kroos of course will no doubt miss his yearly trips down to the BMW dealership this term having decided to call time on his illustrious career last season.

Carlo Ancelotti was also included in the giveaway. He too chose the smaller all-electric i4
Mbappe will be particularly interested the amenities on offer away from the quality of the ride. The French superstar is reportedly yet to gain his driver’s license so trips in the Spanish capital are likely to be spent watching the huge 31.3 inch screen that unfolds from the ceiling.
The car also includes climate control, heated seats, massage capabilities and rear curtains for privacy.
