WHAT HAPPENED?
Per AS, Los Blancos have planned a big event to unveil their biggest signing since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009, on July 16 at the Bernabeu. Last month the Spanish champions brought the curtains down on a long-lasting transfer saga as they announced the signing of Mbappe as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year deal.

The report further claims that a long catwalk will be set up from the exit of the dressing room to the stage with pyrotechnics on its edge. As and when Mbappe starts walking on the catwalk, music will be played on the PA system. As many as 80,000 Real Madrid fans are expected to be present in the stadium to witness the historic transfer being unveiled. The France captain will don the new club kit for the 2024-25 season with the No.9 on his back.
