Once confident of their harmless presence, the elephant gently dipped its trunk into the water, drinking deeply.
The lodge maintains clean and chlorine-free pool water, knowing that wildlife often uses it as a drinking source. Contrary to popular belief, elephants do not use their trunks as straws. Instead, they suck water partway up their trunks and then spray it into their mouths.
