Adorable photos capture the moment a baby elephant wriggles on the floor whilst his big brother tickles him with his trunk.
The duo were caught on camera by wildlife photographer, Lee-Anne Robertson, from Sundays River Valley, South Africa.
She spotted the playful animals climbing over each other at Addo Elephant park last month and went to take a closer look.
Lee-Anne said: ‘The baby elephant caught my eye because he was very playful and running around having fun.
‘I thought he was adorable, just like any baby.
‘He was full of energy and looking for someone to play with.
‘After a while he threw himself down on the ground and his older brother came over and started touching him playfully with his trunk, as if to ask him to come play, to which the baby responded and got up and started climbing on his brother.’
Lee-Anne took a number of photos capturing the playful scenes.
She said: ‘He looked so cute with his feet on his brothers back.
‘Elephants are amazing animals, who love their family dearly and they have enormous patience and kindness which they display to family members.
‘Babies are protected and loved and doted on which is clear in this video as they mother stands nearby enjoying her joyful little family.
‘I loved watching the antics and I am glad I have the footage to look back on it.
‘It made me smile, a lot.’
