Crystal Palace have now opened talks to sign a winger compared to Neymar – and are ready to make an £8m bid.
Dougie Freedman has already signed Morocco international Chadi Riad amid interest from Manchester United and Liverpool in Marc Guehi.
Now – as England’s elite also circle around Michael Olise – Crystal Palace have started negotiations to sign a player from Arsenal…
Crystal Palace in talks to sign Reiss Nelson
A story from Caught Offside now claims that Crystal Palace have started talks with Arsenal over a deal to sign Reiss Nelson.
It is said that Fulham and West Ham are also keeping a close eye on the Hale End graduate – but the Eagles have now made the first move.
Caught Offside believe Crystal Palace are ready to make an £8m bid to sign Nelson – although Arsenal are hoping to receive £21m.

It comes after The Athletic claimed that the Arsenal No.24 has told the Gunners he would like to explore his options this summer after a frustrating 2023/24 campaign at the Emirates Stadium.
Nelson made just one Premier League start last season as Mikel Arteta preferred the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard on the flanks.
Cheap deal could be genius from Dougie Freedman
If Freedman is able to strike a deal with Arsenal for a sum of around £10m this summer, it could prove to be a fantastic bit of business.
Nelson is still just 24 years of age despite being on the scene for a while now, first shining through six years ago in the UEFA Europa League against BATE Borisov, even earning a comparison to Neymar from Martin Keown after a fine performance.

Sadly, the man from Elephant and Castle has simply struggled to displace world class footballers at Arsenal as the competition proves too fierce, although his talents could be better served at Crystal Palace, where other so-called street footballers like Yannick Bolasie, Wilfried Zaha and Ebere Eze have thrived.
