Real Madrid announced Kylian Mbappé becoming a Real Madrid player last week, and many fans are excited about next season. While now everything is confirmed that the French star will be playing for Real Madrid next season, all that is left is the first match with the team and the presentation at the Santiago Bernabeu. Although it would’ve been planned during these weeks, the EURO 2024 will be taking place in Germany, and Mbappé will be playing for the French national team. The French star is training and preparing for the tournament, but Real Madrid may have found a date to present Mbappé at their stadium. Relevo reports that Mbappé’s presentation at the Santiago Bernabeu will be on 16th July. These plans could be ruined by the player himself if he reaches the final of the European Championship with France, which takes place on July 14th. It would be too soon for Mbappé to travel to Spain for the presentation if he wins the tournament with France due to celebrations in his country that many assumed would be planned.
According to Relevo, it is expected that Kylian Mbappé will break Cristiano Ronaldo’s presentation attendance record from 2009. Many reports suggest that the presentation will be free entry for the public, and it is expected to exceed 80,000 people at the Santiago Bernabeu. The French star is very excited to play for Real Madrid, but he is only very keen on winning the EUROS this summer with France since he has yet to win this trophy.
Mbappé spoke with CNN Sports about how important it is for him to win the EUROS. The French star said, “I have won the World Cup, the Nations League. I’m missing the EURO. I really want to win the EUROs, it’s my first competition as captain so it’s really important for me. Are we the favorites? We just want to win you know. We want to win and make France proud.”
