France superstar Kylian Mbappe announced his exit from Paris Saint-Germain and he is ‘super excited’ for what the future holds.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Earlier this week, Mbappe announced his departure from the Ligue 1 side after having been part of the club since 2018. He will reportedly join Real Madrid bringing an end to a long-term saga, and the French World Cup winner has opened up about his future.
WHAT MBAPPE SAID
Speaking to Quotidien, Mbappe said [via GFFN]: “Paris – that represents a lot of things. The fact of having played at such a big club, the love of the fans, a demanding fanbase but one that only wants to love you and then there are the titles. I have won quite a few at Paris! My career took another trajectory at PSG. I owe that to PSG.
“I am going to lose lots of things [by leaving France] but gain lots of other things. I am looking forward. I am super excited. What awaits me will be magical.
“PSG will continue to be big. If I was attracted [to the club], others will be too. Big players want to play at special clubs and PSG is a special club.”

Mbappe will leave Les Parisiens as their all-time top scorer despite still only being 25 years old and having played with the club for just seven seasons. He is now likely to make his way to Los Blancos later this summer in a move that has been in the making for over half a decade.
