Sections of Tottenham supporters appeared delighted after Erling Haaland scored to give Man City the lead in Tuesday’s Premier League clash against Spurs as some home fans did the Poznan in the stands.
Pre-match build-up the game was dominated by discussion over whether Spurs wanted to beat City knowing that a win over Pep Guardiola’s side would give rivals Arsenal the chance to win the Premier League title on the final day of the season.
Haaland opened the scoring after latching onto Kevin de Bruyne’s cutback at the start of the second half to prompt wild celebrations amongst City fans, while some Spurs supporters also joined in.

Meanwhile, Tottenham were searching for a desperate win that would have seen them put pressure on Aston Villa in the race for the Champions League, with Unai Emery’s side sealing their top four place if Spurs dropped points.
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou disregarded any suggestion that his own fanbase wanted City to win the game, telling Sky Sports pre-match: ‘I’ve just always believed that in a contest you want to win doesn’t matter what you’re doing, you know. And I don’t understand that, you know.
‘Like I said, I’m a bit bemused by the whole discussion the last 48 hours. I think it’s the biggest game in the world today.
‘I think absolutely, it’s a massive, massive game, and why we as a football club wouldn’t want to win it, whether you’re a supporter or a player, I don’t understand,’ he added.
