Neymar could leave Saudi Arabia and two options he has is either to go to Santos or go to Inter Miami.
Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez look on to the pitch while Neymar throws a thumbs up with a Santos FC shirt.
Neymar has options to choose from after his contract with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia expires. As many fans want to see the Brazilian star join Inter Miami to reunite with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to form the MSN trio once again, Neymar may want to play for Santos FC instead because of a promise he made and potentially having a stake of his boyhood club. Santos is very special to Neymar since it was his first professional club, which gave him an opportunity to showcase his skills and led to his becoming a major football star. Reports in Brazil predict that he would follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo Nazario, who bought his boyhood club Cruzeiro.
Neymar went to visit a game of Santos in a cup final against Palmeiras at the Estadio Urbano Caldeira. Santos fans were excited to see the Brazilian star back in Brazil to watch the final. UOL Esporte reported that Neymar talked with the board of the club about potentially returning to the club as a player after his contract with Al Hilal expires next year.
Fans were questioning where he would go after Al Hilal since he has also hinted at a move to Inter Miami. Neymar has attended NBA games in Miami in the past months as well and even took a picture with the co-owner of Inter Miami, David Beckham. Neymar got fans excited when he said he hopes to play with Messi once again in the near future. Neymar told ESPN Argentina, “I hope we will get to play together again. Leo is a great person, everyone knows him. I think he is happy in Miami. If Messi is happy, I am happy too.”
How Inter Miami is doing compared to Santos FC
Inter Miami seems to be in a great place with Messi, Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets. They are first in the Eastern Conference of the MLS with 21 points after 11 matches played. Meanwhile, Santos is in the Brasileiro Serie B after being relegated from the Brasileiro Serie A last year, as they finished 17th in the relegation zone with 43 points after 38 league games played. Santos is second in the Brasileiro Serie B with 6 points after two games played.
