Al Hilal’s coach talked about the Brazilian star player
Neymar is still injured after rupturing ligaments, and in recent times he has made more headlines off the field than on it.
That’s because he was seen overweight, for example, during his recent trip on cruise ship, as he has been out of action since October.
Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus compared Neymar’s passion with that of CR7, but noted that the Portuguese star makes football his priority.
“Cristiano Ronaldo has more passion for soccer and, therefore, puts it as a priority,” said Jorge Jesus. “Neymar has more passion for other things and puts those other things, which is his private life, ahead.
“But as a player he is fabulous. And as a man I spent a month and a half with him, he surprised me positively in everything.”
Neymar still unable to play soccer
Neymar’s injury has complicated matters for Jorge Jesus, something he didn’t shy away from admitting.
“First of all, I had no luck at all. Why? I had never worked with Neymar before. We worked for a month and a half, no more,” he said.
“It’s something out of the ordinary, it’s out of the ordinary. And so we lost quality, at least offensively. He’s an easy kid to lead, he’s a very sweet and understanding kid.”
