Manchester United defeated Liverpool 4-3 at Old Trafford, and the Red Devils advanced to the semifinals of the FA Cup. Liverpool were trailing early in the first half, but Liverpool made a comeback just before halftime. Manchester United advances to the semifinals of the FA Cup along with Manchester City, Chelsea, and Coventry City. Man United will travel to Wembley Stadium again soon when they play in the semifinals of the FA Cup.
Manchester United brought the intensity to Liverpool as Old Trafford was loud, supporting their team. Man United created three great chances in the first ten minutes. The opener arrived in the 10th minute as Scott Mctominay pushed the ball into the net from close range. Marcus Rashford passes a great ball to Alejandro Garnacho, who takes a shot from a tight angle. Kelleher made the save, but the ball went in the air, and McTominay volleyed the ball into the net.
In the 44th minute, Alexis Mac Allister scored the equalizer for Liverpool to make it 1-1. Darwin Nunez passes the ball to Mac Allister, and his powerful shot, with a deflection from Mainoo, goes past Onana. Three minutes later, just before halftime, Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool’s second goal. Nunez is involved again as he takes a shot that Onana saves, but the rebound falls to Salah in the box. Salah shoots the ball into the net with the help of the right post.
Liverpool had chances to kill the game in the second half, but Man United grabbed an equalizer late in the game. With his back on goal, Antony takes a low shot that goes into the bottom right corner to make it 2-2 and send the game to extra time

In the 105th minute, Harvey Elliott takes a shot outside the box, and courtesy of a deflection by Eriksen, the ball goes past Onana. Liverpool took the lead again to make it 3-2. Liverpool looked to be in control of the game again and ran away with it, but the second half of extra time was spectacular for Manchester United.
Marcus Rashford scored the 3-3 equalizer in the 112th minute, and he slotted the ball into the bottom right corner with Kelleher staying still. Liverpool tried to score another goal to win the game and avoid the game going to penalties, but a loss of possession by Harvey Elliott led to United’s winner. Garnacho took the ball and started a counter with Amad Diallo. Garnacho passes the ball to Diallo, who takes a touch to get past Conor Bradley and slots the ball into the bottom right corner to make it 4-3 to Manchester United. Old Trafford explodes with joy as the final whistle arrives, and they will play at Wembley for the semifinals of the FA Cup.
