The contract between Kylian Mbappe and PSG is only valid until the end of this season. The French team is still trying to convince the player born in 1998 to extend the contract but has not been successful. Mbappe is said to be determined to leave, he wants to join Real Madrid.
The former Monaco star believes that the Bernabeu is the place that can help him win major titles and also win the Golden Ball title. PSG still hopes to keep their star, but they also plan to find a replacement for him.
According to Journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG has seriously considered recruiting MU striker Marcus Rashford as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe. He said: “Marcus Rashford is PSG’s target. The club were keen before Rashford extended his stay at Old Trafford, but after meeting in Paris, PSG felt they were being used as his leverage.
Rashford remains committed to MU, but cannot completely rule out a move to PSG in the summer. However, Rashford must first indicate that he has changed his mind about leaving if PSG does not want to waste time.”
The player born in 1997 got off to a bad start at the beginning of this season, but now he is getting back to his best. In the last 5 matches in the Premier League, number 10 has 3 goals and 1 assist. MU currently won the last 3 matches, further away they won 4 and drew 1 in the last 5 matches in all fronts.
