Luka Dončić, a leading talent in the National Basketball Association, has revealed his delight with news of Kylian Mbappé’s long-touted transfer to Real Madrid taking a step forward.
The name of frontman Mbappé, of course, has returned to the forefront of the headlines in a major way across the day to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming by way of the reliable Le Parisien that the 25-year-old has come to the definitive decision to take his talents to Spain to link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s Real this summer.
Mbappé, it is understood, will keep his decision under wraps for the time being, out of respect to his teammates at Paris Saint-Germain.
But the call has been made, and another of world football’s standout talents is indeed bound for the Bernabéu.
News of Mbappé’s incoming addition, for obvious reasons, has since been met with widespread excitement across the Real Madrid fanbase.
And, as alluded to above, one such high-profile supporter who was this evening keen to make his delight known comes in the form of Luka Dončić.
Dončić spent three of the early years of his basketball career plying his trade with none other than Real Madrid.
Now of the Dallas Mavericks, and widely considered to be one of the world’s best, though, the 24-year-old evidently still boasts a soft spot for his former employers, and their football counterparts alike.
