According to The Mirror, Haaland has confessed that he likes to play PlayStation before each of his matches. The game FIFA and later changed to EAFC allowed Haaland to score in the game before he tried to do it in real life against Manchester City. In an interview, the 23-year-old super striker said: “I don’t have any special habits. I try not to think too much before each match. Usually the night before the match, I play PlayStation and try to I try to relax as much as possible. I don’t do anything special. I like to score goals with my own character in FC24, that’s all. I don’t do much, I just try to relax and look forward to enjoying myself. The match is coming soon.”
Haaland also shared more about his personal ambitions: “I want to continue doing what I did last season, score more goals and win more titles. Now, I know what it means to win the Champions League.” League and Premier League is what it is. I would love to do it again. I will try my best and I want to help the team make it happen.”
Haaland has been plagued by injuries for several months, with his last appearance coming in City’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on December 6. The Norwegian enjoyed a record-breaking debut season in the Premier League and scored a lot of goals until he got injured.
Pep Guardiola recently commented on Erling Haaland’s possible return: “Hopefully in the next matches, he will be ready. Haaland’s return took a little longer than we initially expected. It’s bones, it takes time. With every injury, you can do whatever you want but it’s just a matter of time.”
Despite not having Haaland in the squad, City have picked up the pace and kept their hopes of another treble alive by beating Tottenham in the FA Cup on Friday. This is The Citizen’s first victory at Tottenham’s home field.
