Striker Marcus Rashford was removed from the Manchester United squad to face Newport in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Marcus Rashford is in trouble. British media initially revealed that Rashford arrived at Thompsons Garage nightclub on Wednesday night (January 24). According to the plan, he will return to England on Thursday (January 25) and take the training field on the morning of January 26 to prepare for the match against Newport in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
However, coach Ten Hag confirmed that Rashford is sick. However, The Athletic revealed that the England international partied two nights in a row in Northern Ireland, not one. Therefore, it is not certain whether Rashford is really sick or not.
Rashford is said to have angered coach Ten Hag and is at risk of facing disciplinary action.
Man Utd’s home page announced: “Rashford was not healthy enough to be in the Newport squad after his illness. He stayed at Carrington to practice after recovering.”
Rashford is having difficulty with his form this season, scoring only 4 goals in all competitions. Therefore, it is not surprising that Rashford has to face a lot of criticism.
