Talking to GIVEMESPORT, journalist Alex Crook gave an update on the English star’s situation.
Discussing rumors related to Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the Saudi Pro League, Alex Crook confirmed that Manchester United will not allow the former Crystal Palace star to leave in the January market. Instead, they will look to extend the contract with this defender.
British journalist said:
“With Wan-Bissaka and Casemiro, the heads of the Saudi Pro League discussed with the intermediaries who work on behalf of Casemiro, and I think Wan-Bissaka’s name also came up. However, sources from Man Utd are revealing to me that they do not envision a scenario where Wan-Bissaka will leave during the winter transfer window.
“I think, perhaps because Man Utd have decided to activate the extension option in Wan-Bissaka’s contract, maybe they will look to try to extend his contract long-term – with a salary cut reduced. I think, Wan-Bissaka really did a very good job under Erik ten Hag, he is one of the most stable players in the team.”
