Sharing with Betfred, Andy Cole supports Manchester United to make a deal on the transfer market.
Manchester United have been in contact with a number of stars and recent reports suggest they are interested in signing Karim Benzema. Benzema is eager to return to Europe just months after joining Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.
The Red Devils’ attack is disappointing and they are the team scoring the fewest goals in the top 14 in the Premier League. When asked whether Man Utd should look to sign Benzema this month, Andy Cole told Betfred:
“150%. I would sign Benzema if it was just a training session. I was surprised when he left Real Madrid in the summer but I understand why it happened. He became rich with money earned in Saudi Arabia. It’s for his children and his grandchildren.”
“‘When you are at that age in your career and have won four La Liga titles, five Champions League titles and the Ballon d’Or, I can understand why Benzema went to Saudi Arabia. He can play. in the Premier League at his age? 100% considering how he takes care of himself.”
“If Manchester United have the opportunity to sign Benzema, then they should definitely try to make it happen.”
