These ten clubs in the Premier League are the most expensive teams to support and attend a game of theirs
The Premier League is arguably the biggest league in the world and is the most watched out of the top five European leagues. With broadcasting rights, the Premier League is worth nearly $13 billion. Some football fans from around the world attend games in England to some of the biggest and most popular teams in the league.
The Sun reports these rankings for all ten clubs. In the 10th position, Brentford is ranked one of England’s ten most expensive clubs to support. Their average matchday ticket price is around £48 pounds, and the season ticket averages to £484 pounds a season. Everton ranks in 9th with a matchday ticket averaging £55 pounds, and the season ticket is around £645 pounds.
The 8th position goes for Crystal Palace, whose matchday ticket averages £53 pounds, and a season ticket is around £720 pounds. The club after that will surprise you. Manchester City is ranked 7th with a matchday ticket averaging £67 pounds and a season ticket is about £708 pounds.
Aston Villa is next as they ranked 6th of the most expensive clubs to support. An average matchday ticket for a Villa game is 64 pounds, and a season ticket is about £737. Chelsea is in 5th place with a matchday ticket of around 48 pounds and a season ticket averaging £845.
Fulham claims fourth with a matchday ticket of around £38 pounds and a season ticket of about a whopping £1,798. This price is for the location of where the club is from. Fulham, along with other clubs on the list, is based in London, and the capital of England makes these clubs expensive for a local, let alone a visitor from outside the United Kingdom.

Following Chelsea and Fulham, the next three clubs are also based in London. Third place goes for West Ham United, who has an average matchday ticket of 75 pounds and a season ticket of 708 pounds. The club has the most expensive food prices, with just over 14 pounds for a pint, tea, and a pie together.
Arsenal is second on the list, with an average matchday ticket of around 66 pounds and a season ticket of £1,379. They lose out on first place on the list to their biggest rivals, Tottenham Hotspurs. The Spurs’ average matchday ticket is about 70 pounds, and a season ticket is around £1,416!
