Sport said Real Madrid will consider selling Vinicius as a move to mobilize finance for the Kylian Mbappe deal and this will be good news for Man Utd.
Vinicius came to Real Madrid in 2018 from Flamengo. He quickly became a pillar of the club, scoring 68 goals in 238 appearances. Los Blancos has considered Vinicius as a ‘non-transferable’ character but this team still intends to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Both play in the same position and therefore they will have to hesitate a lot if they want to keep Vinicius. To recruit Mbappe on a free transfer, Real Madrid will likely have to pay this striker a salary of up to 600,000 pounds/week.
The total amount Real Madrid spends on this deal could be around 150 million pounds, throughout the duration of the contract. That number is so large that Sport newspaper said Real Madrid needs to sell Vinicius to have more budget.
This is a good sign for Man Utd, the team is willing to spend 130 million pounds to recruit the Brazilian striker. Sir Jim Ratcliffe hopes to have full control of football activities at Old Trafford in early February. At that time, it is hoped that the Red Devils will be able to be strong in the market.
