Erling Haaland has shared a picture of himself wearing a breathing aid onto his social media pages.
Haaland recently suffered a setback in his comeback from injury after Manchester City’s medical team withdrew the Norwegian striker from training this week.
The 23-year-old is struggling to beat a foot problem that left him unable to walk after last month’s loss to Aston Villa but looks to be doing all he can to aid his recovery.
Haaland has previously admitted that he tapes his mouth shut when he sleeps and the Norwegian striker seemed to prove that after sharing the picture onto social media.
In a post on his Instagram story, the Man City star stood bare-chested in a selfie on Friday night, that showed him wearing the breathing aid over his mouth.
He captioned the post: ‘Think outside the box’.
Back in August, Haaland stated that he tapes his mouth shut before sleeping and also revealed that he wears blue light blocking glasses for three hours before bed.
The 23-year-old some of the secrets behind his success while appearing on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
Haaland said: ‘I think sleep is the most important thing in the world.
‘So to sleep good, simple kind of things blue blocking glasses, shutting out all the signals in the bedroom.
‘To do a lot of things is not good but to do small things every single day for a longer period really pays off.’
He previously revealed his diet of heart and liver that has helped him to become a success in a documentary called Haaland: The Big Decision.
Showing off huge chunks of heart and liver from his butcher, he said: ‘You (other people) don’t eat this, but I am concerned with taking care of my body.
‘I think eating quality food that is as local as possible is the most important.’
