Rogerio Ceni’s side will spend a short period at Manchester City’s training base as they begin preparations for their 2024 Brazilian Serie A campaign.
Last term, they dramatically survived relegation from Brazil’s top flight with a 4-1 win over Atletico Minero on the final day of the season in December 2023.
Now, though, Bahia’s full focus is on what the team can achieve in the new campaign and they have taken advantage of their CFG group status to use Pep Guardiola’s side’s training facilities between Tuesday 9 and Sunday 21 January.
Bahia became the 13th and most recent addition to Man City global footballing network in May 2023.
In celebration of their inclusion, the Brazilian side joined City in hosting the hugely successful ‘O dia da Bahia’ at the Etihad Stadium ahead of our Premier League fixture with Fulham in September.
This included live pre-match performances from legendary Brazilian artist Carlinhos Brown, as well as A Dama and O Maestro.
