On Christmas, Haaland showed off the first Champions League trophy of his career when dressed as Santa Claus and shared his wishes with fans.
In the latest image posted on his personal Instagram, the Norwegian striker wears a beard and a beautiful Santa Claus outfit. Haaland holds the ball in one hand, while the other holds the prestigious Champions League trophy with the status line: “Ho Ho Ho Christmas is here! Hope you can enjoy it with your loved ones.”
Haaland’s photo immediately attracted attention and received more than 1 million likes. Not long ago, Man City and Haaland collected their fifth title of the 2023 calendar year, defeating Fluminense 4-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup final.
The former Dortmund star was unable to play for Man City in that match due to injury, but he is expected to return to the main squad in Man City’s away trip to Everton at 3:15 a.m. on December 28, Vietnam time. A victory will help Pep Guardiola’s team reclaim 4th place from Tottenham – the team has 36 points, 2 points more than Man City.
This season, Haaland has scored 19 goals in 22 appearances for Man City in all competitions. In the Premier League alone, he has scored 14 goals after 15 matches, leading the top scorer list.
