According to Sky Sports, in the worst case, the Red Devils will accept to liquidate the contract with the English star.
Jadon Sancho remains one of Manchester United’s highest paid players, with wages of more than £250,000 per week. However, the British star is currently “sitting around” after conflicts with coach Erik ten Hag.
Sancho is no longer in the Dutch captain’s plans, but pushing a player born in 2000 out of Old Trafford is really difficult because hardly any team is willing to meet the huge salary mentioned above.
According to sources from Sky Sports, in the worst case, if Man Utd does not receive a suitable offer for the former Dortmund striker, they will decide to liquidate the contract.
This idea is nothing new in English football, because in recent years Arsenal has used a similar approach to conclude deals with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe.
However, if they go their separate ways with Sancho, Man Utd will be considered to have lost the 73 million pound investment they spent to recruit him.
