On his personal page, former Manchester United star Ravel Morrison called on the club to bring Mason Greenwood back to Old Trafford.
On December 20 (Vietnam time), Atletico Madrid was determined to defeat Getafe when playing at home. They led their opponents 3-1 until the 86th minute, but were still equalized.
Mason Greenwood did not score or assist in this match, but was a player who made a big difference on the field. He contributed to 2/3 of Getafe’s goals and was given the 3rd highest score by Sofascore (8.0), only behind Antoine Griezmann (8.1) and Borja Mayoral (8.1).
Since the beginning of the season, Greenwood has contributed to 5 goals and 4 assists after 15 matches for Getafe. Clearly, players on the Man Utd payroll are playing explosively again.
Witnessing what Greenwood performed, Ravel Morrison wrote on his personal page: “What a classy player. Man United needs to bring him back.”
Morrison emerged from the Man United academy in 2010. He is considered one of the Red Devils’ best youth products for many years, winning the FA Cup Youth Cup with Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.
However, he left the club after just three first-team appearances to join West Ham United in 2012. Morrison has since played for 11 different clubs. Last year, he left Derby County to join DC United.
