According to Sky Sports, it is not easy for Man Utd to directly discuss the Jadon Sancho deal with Barcelona.
The England international featured in the first three matches of the season, but was dropped in the loss to Arsenal. Coach Erik Ten Hag revealed that Sancho has a bad training attitude.
Immediately, the former Dortmund star criticized coach Ten Hag for lying. Sancho was immediately suspended indefinitely by the Old Trafford team for disciplinary reasons.
Sancho is said to have no way back and Man Utd is ready to sell this player in the January 2024 transfer window. Accordingly, Man United wants to exchange Sancho for Raphinha, a player who is also falling out of favor at Camp Nou.
However, Mundo Deportivo reported that Barcelona initially “ruled out” the idea of signing Sancho. However, they will consider selling Raphinha if they receive a significant fee for the Brazilian international.
Specifically, Sky Sports confirmed that Barcelona valued Raphinha at 100 million USD (~79 million pounds). This means Man United may have to pay some cash with Sancho to reach this agreement in the January 2024 transfer window.
Raphinha joined Barcelona in a £55 million contract from Leeds United.
