Kylian Mbappe and his potential transfer to Real Madrid has always generated massive headlines. The French star has been linked to the Spanish side for almost two years, with nothing set in stone. With people commenting on a possible move for the player, a former French star has given some crucial advice to the PSG ace.
With Mbappe yet to extend his contract with PSG, teams across Europe are hoping to lure the players to bolster their ranks. The player has attracted attention from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United, who are keen on signing the player during the summer transfer window.
Former French soccer star Djibril Cisse in a recent interview with Le10Sport touched down on Real Madrid’s interest in PSG star Kylian Mbappe. Cisse, who left France at the age of 23, is no stranger to move to a different league to prove himself.
Cisse commented on Mbappe’s potential move to Real Madrid, stating, “It’s all in your head and in your heart. If you feel ready and mentally strong enough, there’s no age limit.”
He then made further comparisons between himself and the PSG ace. Cisse added, “Do I recognize myself in Mbappé? Yes, and no. Of course, our main qualities are speed, but he also has technique. I had more speed, power, and strength. Kylian’s game is more refined. I don’t think we’re the same caliber of player.”
Real Madrid has been interested in the French superstar for a while now. However, the side denied any claims of negotiations with the player in a public statement. However, despite Madrid’s denial, fans believe Kylian Mbappe is more than likely headed to the Spanish capital at the end of his contract at PSG.
While Real Madrid and PSG are eager to secure the player’s services, they are not the only side in the race. Premier League side Manchester United is also allegedly interested in signing the Frenchman following Sir Jim Radcliffe’s takeover.
PSG, on the other hand, is trying their best to convince the player to extend his contact. Mbappe has currently refused to talk about his future. The player has stated he is currently focusing on performing for PSG, and everything else is secondary.
