Man United faced a major setback just days before their encounter against Everton.

Man Utd continues to face another injury after Mason Mount suffered a calf strain that could force him out of action for up to a month.

Mount was injured in training before M.U’s trip to Everton’s Goodison Park. The Red Devils’ medical team is still assessing the extent of the injury, but initial signs show that the English midfielder may have to miss 3-4 weeks.
This continues to be a major obstacle for Mason Mount, as he is struggling to make an impression since joining M.U from Chelsea last summer. The 24-year-old star has missed 6 matches due to injury and has yet to score a goal or make an assist after 12 appearances in all competitions.

Besides Mason Mount, M.U also does not have the services of two other central midfielders, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, and midfielder Jonny Evans due to injury.
However, the Red Devils also received good news when Luke Shaw was able to return in the match with Everton. Because he has just recovered from injury, it is likely that the English left-back will start on the bench.
In addition, goalkeeper Andre Onana can also play after having to leave the field midway through the Cameroon vs Mauritius match in the World Cup qualifier, due to a groin strain.
Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund’s ability to play is still open, as the Danish striker faced a late fitness test due to a hamstring injury in the win over Luton two weeks ago.
After 12 rounds, M.U is currently ranked 6th on the Premier League rankings, with 21 points. After the match against Everton, coach Erik ten Hag and his team will enter 3 difficult matches against Galatasaray, Newcastle and Chelsea.
