Andre, a 22-year-old holding midfielder, is the subject of interest from Manchester United following a report from Football Transfers reporter Jacque Talbot.
Talbot said the Red Devils view the Fluminese midfielder as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who is being linked with a move away from Old Trafford in January amid speculation of interest from the Saudi Pro League.
However, when asked about his links with Manchester United, Andre only said he was focusing on Fluminese’s goals.
“I don’t know anything about United,” André told ESPN. “And I don’t think it will lead to anything either.
“We are in November, there is one last leg of the Brazilian Championship, there are World Cup qualifiers, but I am very happy here.”
The 22-year-old has made 53 appearances for the Brazilian club in the past 10 months and helped them win the double in his first season.
Andre can be brought in for a price ranging from 26-35 million pounds. The question is whether it will be Manchester United or another Premier League club?
