Coach Thomas Tuchel has talked about the possibility of reuniting with Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe at Bayern Munich next season.
The French superstar has not yet signed a new contract with PSG, Mbappe will likely leave the Ligue 1 giant as a free agent next summer. However, his next destination is yet to be revealed, with Mbappe’s former coach at PSG suggesting that he would be happy to reunite with the Frenchman.
Real Madrid is the most likely next destination for Mbappe, but Tuchel is open to the striker’s arrival at the Allianz Arena.
Speaking to Canal+, the Bayern coach said: “Is Mbappe free next year? Yes, he will play for us. Kylian is a talented player, he is very smart. We’ve got a good relationship. If he wants to go to Bayern, I will go pick him up myself. When he wants something, he will get it.”
However, this coach later also confirmed that it would be very unlikely for the German giant to buy Mbappe. Last summer, Bayern Munich made a famous deal called Harry Kane, so Mbappe seems unlikely to have a chance to play in Germany.
The 24-year-old has been Real Madrid’s main transfer target for the past two years and, according to a recent report by CadenaSER, Los Blancos have now decided to end their pursuit of the World Cup winner. Thus, opportunities will open up again for other big men if they want to get the top stars of world football.
