Talking to Manchester United’s official website, the Dutch strategist commented on the loss to Copenhagen.
Speaking after the loss to Copenhagen, coach Erik Ten Hag affirmed that not only this morning’s match, but Manchester United has had to face a series of unfavorable decisions throughout this season. However, he affirmed that Man Utd players will still try to fight to the end and that the Red Devils’ situation will eventually change.
The Dutch strategist shared:
“This squad is very resilient. Throughout the season, there were a lot of decisions that went against us, along with a lot of injuries. But even so, the team always had a fighting spirit, and we I will still try to the end. Because I am sure, things will change.”
“Football is a game of mistakes. I wouldn’t say we did everything right, but I noticed a lot of positives. Even with 10 men, we controlled the game and played very good. And so we’re very disappointed that in the end you got nothing out of this game. The outcome could have been very different.”
