A miracle occurs at a baby’s birth. But, it is a known fact that it is provided to every woman with considerable difficulty and that it has implications. Hayley Garnett, a mother of three amazing children from the USA, experienced this.
After the second birth, the mom was unperturbed when her eldest son inquired as to what had become of her stomach. And all because Hayley feels proud of the stretch marks from her second pregnancy (twins). That’s why, too!
The woman had two pregnancies and of course, stretch marks remained on her body after both. They were especially noticeable after the second birth, when Hayley gave birth to twins (Ramona and Ruby).
Many women consider stretch marks to be something shameful. And so they try to hide them. Hayley Garnet was not ashamed of her stretch marks, and to the question of her eldest son Archer: “Mom, what happened to your tummy?” she knew what to answer.
“Look, these stripes are the marks that each of my children leaves. After all, I carried you in my tummy. And then you left such a reminder, thanks to which I remember that you grew up in my body,” Haley replied to her son’s question.
After such an interesting question, the woman decided to share her impressions with other mothers. She posted a blog post in which she talked about her latest pregnancy and how she feels about stretch marks on her body.
Hayley is not only a mother of three children, but also a photographer. The woman believes that the stretch marks remind her of the feat that she was able to accomplish thanks to her body. Indeed, sometimes it is difficult to bear even one child, not to mention twins.
“My tummy grew exponentially. I even sometimes worried that just a centimeter more, and it would just burst. And for the last month of pregnancy, I generally keep quiet, it was difficult for me to do everything. Yes, I could barely move, not to mention the usual household items,” recalls Hayley.
“In addition to the physical discomfort, there were also emotional difficulties. After all, I did not know how my eldest son would perceive the appearance of sisters. He will suddenly become jealous or believe that I will begin to dislike him. After all, I won’t be able to give him as much attention and time as I used to,” Garnet explained.
But as soon as two beautiful babies appeared in her life, all these experiences faded into the background. After all, she was infinitely happy that she had became a mother again. Emotional and financial difficulties fade against the background of boundless happiness derived from motherly feelings.
For Hailey, stretch marks are not a problem, but rather a source of pride. She does not hide and is not ashamed of them. After all, every time she sees them, she is enveloped in feelings of admiration and pride in her body. After all, thanks to him, her children were born.
Hayley Garnet is a great example for many mothers who are ashamed of such marks. And they should be proud. Her words made many think, rethink and accept their new body.
