While Lionel Messi and Aitana Bonmati won their respective Ballon d’Ors on Monday, other guests at the event didn’t dress as beautifully.

Football players aren’t exactly known for their fashionable appearances, but you would assume that the clothes worn to a black tie event such as the Ballon d’Or would be somewhat similar.
However, that isn’t always the case. Jude Bellingham has been the life of the party in Madrid, but perhaps in addition to all the shooting exercises, he ought also combine some runway training.
Vinicius Jr., who was in Paris for the awards as well, looked just as smart in his blazer made of scarlet silk. But at least Vinicius Jr. and Bellingham (looking at you, IShowSpeed) had on bow ties.
However, Speed was wearing a shirt, but Djibril Cisse did not. Arriving at the occasion, Cisse looked magnificent in a white blazer, white slacks, and dazzling blue hair.
Here are some of the most bizarre 2023 Ballon d’Or dress choices, as examined by Daily Star Sport.
Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham was named the world’s best young player and received the Raymond Kopa Award. Bonus points for the double-breasted blazer, even though it’s lucky he didn’t fall down the stairs in those jeans.
Vinicius Jr
Vinicius Jr. stood out from the crowd in his crimson satin blazer; at least someone had reminded him to match his shoes and belt.
Kylian Mbappe
You are not a grey person, Kylian Mbappe. If Mbappe decides to leave PSG in the summer, let’s hope he doesn’t join a team that wears gray. Mbappe finished third in the Ballon d’Or.
Cisse Djibrille
It’s nearly flawless, but it’s just so bizarre. It’s possible that Djibril Cisse misread the calendar because Paris fashion week was earlier this month.
