After being accused of spitting at Lionel Messi, Paraguayan international antonio Sanabria revealed that his family has received threats.
Sanabria, a product of Barcelona’s development program, has been accused of spitting at Messi during Paraguay’s match against argentina.
A heated discussion ensued between Messi and Sanabria, who appeared to spit in Messi’s direction as the argentine turned away from him during their conversation. as the game, Messi responded angrily, saying, “The truth is, I don’t even know who this guy is.” I failed to spot him. only I was informed.
Sanabria has broken his silence on Instagram to deny spitting at the Inter Miami forward.
He started off by saying, “I feel obliged to go out and deny what happened last night.”
Because I saw my family impacted, and because I received several threats for something that never happened. To show proper respect, I would never do something like that to a coworker or anyone else.

The Torino forward said to TyC Sports after the game that things appeared worse on replay than they actually were.
Messi’s situation has not changed. In the immediate aftermath, he remarked, “It looks like I spit out, but there’s nothing to see, it was far away, and I totally deny it.”
While Messi may be unfamiliar with Sanabria, his Paraguayan counterpart will be all too familiar.
While Messi was the main attraction for Barcelona, Sanabria spent his time in La Masia before moving on to Roma in 2014.
