Since joining Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe has continued to demonstrate why he is considered to be one of the very greatest soccer players in the world. This season, the team has played nine games across all competitions. Mbappe already has 10 goals scored for PSG, which is leading the Ligue 1 standings. However, things are not going as planned for the star striker for France.
Mbappe has joined the French national squad as we enter a period of international competition. He will be playing in a series of upcoming games. Mbappe, on the other hand, has chosen not to participate in any of the team’s sponsorship efforts, including those involving KFC France, which is one of the team’s sponsors. Mbappe declared that he would not be participating in the French Football Federation’s sponsorship efforts unless and until the French Football Federation modified their stance on the image rights of their soccer players.
Mbappe’s decision not to participate in the FFF’s activities during the international break has caused some dissatisfaction for the KFC, which is the FFF’s partner in the business. This is definitely a concern for the FFF. Because Mbappe was not going to participate in the sponsorship arrangement that KFC France had with him, Alain Beral, the vice president of KFC France, threatened to take legal action against Mbappe and the French Football Federation (FFF).
“We are in possession of something that is lucid. If it becomes necessary, we will fight for our legal rights.” Alain Beral, from eSPN
In the end, KFC France would retract Beral’s words, but it is still abundantly evident that Mbappe’s actions have caused a great deal of dissatisfaction on the part of a great many people involved in this scenario. Mbappe has made it abundantly apparent that he is dissatisfied with France’s attitude regarding image rights, and it does not appear likely that he will participate in any of France’s sponsorship initiatives until he receives what he desires. As a direct consequence of this, it appears that Kylian Mbappe will not be going to KFC any time soon if he is in the market for some quick meal.
