In order to participate in a magnificent picture session in Norway, ERLING HAALAND dressed as a Viking.
As he posed in a frigid lake for the photographs, the Manchester City striker was holding a shield and a large sword.
Haaland is seen in the sea, encircled by steam, wearing typical Viking garb, including boots and a fur chest covering.
He smolders for the camera, which was being held by photographer David Yarrow, with his hair down.
After Haaland was persuaded to participate by conversing with his father Alfie and Yarrow, the two connected for the photo shoot.
When Haaland is not scoring goals for City, he typically tries to stay out of the spotlight.
In the behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot, Haaland can be seen grinning and laughing in between shots.
In the past, fans of City and Norway both dressed as Vikings during games as a tribute to Haaland’s history. When The Times questioned Yarrow about working with Haaland, he responded, “This was such a privilege to undertake and I undertook the assignment with humility and a sense of duty. I did not want to squander his valuable time.
“Working with Erling was a delight, and the response to the image in Norway has been tremendous.”I’m hoping that our hour together will enable us to contribute much to charity. I appreciate the Haaland family’s confidence in me to do the work. Fans can buy the images from the photoshoot for between £35,000 and £40,000, and Haaland will donate all revenues to the charity of her choice.
This season, the 23-year-old has been excellent for City, scoring eight goals in his first six Premier League games.
